Voice Weavers performed a mixture of Christmas Carols & crowd favourites for the Northern Rivers Red Cross at Chinderah Village Tourist Caravan Park.. Amongst their charity work they are helping support flood victims from last year who are still without proper accommodation. Many are still living in temporary caravan accommodation, so it was hoped this event would bring them some Christmas cheer.

World-Wind Tour with Voice Weavers
Sat, 28 Oct 2023
Our World-Wind Tour Concert by all accounts was a huge success. Singing to a sold out crowd was an exhilarating experience. The overwhelmingly positive response from our audience. with comments like. "A fantastic Show," "Loved it," "What a great show" "Such a great choir" 'fantastic concert" made all the hard work and rehearsal worthwhile.
We began our journey around the world in song at home here in Australia. We were thrilled to welcome our guest choir the EFKS Southport Samoan Choir who joined us for one of Samoas most well loved songs, Lo Ta Nu'u before treating us to the joy of hearing them sing a song of their choice on their own. We sung our way around to the 4 corners of the Earth. We were joined in 'Austria: by some very talented chidren who made our rendition of Edelweiss truly memorable.. There was spectacular choreography and colourful costume changes. The finale of the concert culminated with everyone back on stage for the end of our metaphorical trip to proclaim that we "Still Call Australia home".

FESTIVAL OF VOICES
Fri, 30 Jun 2023 to Sun, 9 Jul 2023
A wonderful time was had by the members of. the Choir who atended the festival of Voices in Hobart in July.. The workshops were lots of fun and helped. to we all came away with ways to make us better singers. Our pop up performances at the Tourist infomation Centre and the museum were well received by our audiences. Our final pop up at the Grand Chancellor Hotel, despite having to compete with the Friday night crowd having pre ball drinks was enjoyable and th crowd. really got in to the spirit of our singing even joining us in the choreography.
We had the honor of singing with the local Up She Rises Choir as part of out Town Hall performance. Our combined rendition of Drunken Sailor was a huge hit with the audience.
As always the singers lounge was enormous fun and an important chance to hear and sing in front of other singing groups. We received very positive feedback from our performances there.
This was Voice Weavers secon vt to the festival and it won't be out last..
